​What Causes " The Green Monster " ?

Pond algae is unsightly to most pond owners. Some people actually like some forms of algae like "String ALgae".  Some say that if string algae is present, the water quality in your water feature is pristine. Finding a balanced growth of healthy algae in your pond or water feature is really quite common. Once you have a general understanding of a few basic principles and water treatments, it can be brought under control.
